Medical Disposable Gloves

Disposable gloves are incredibly popular for their protective ability and their ease of use. All you need to do is simply remove a pair from your packet, slip them on and continue with your task. With non-disposable gloves you will need to clean and wash the gloves following use in order to keep them clean, with medical disposable gloves, all you will need to do is slide them off and throw them away.

Medical disposable gloves are one of the most vital pieces of equipment in a hospital or doctors’ surgery as they ensure a sterile environment to help prevent the spread of bugs and diseases. At Easy Gloves, our selection of medical gloves give our customers the knowledge that they are safe and secure against anything that may come their way in the medical environment. From medical nitrile gloves to medical latex gloves and medical vinyl gloves, our products are of the highest quality available. If you would like to learn any further information regarding our medical disposable gloves, please feel free to get in touch with a member of our team today.

FAQs

What Are the Best Type of Medical Gloves?

The best gloves are by far nitrile gloves, as nitrile is a synthetic rubber. These gloves are puncture and chemically resistant and protect your hands from viruses. However, many people cannot use latex gloves due to a common allergen, making them unsuitable for some. Alternatively, nitrile allergies are uncommon, so these would be preferable.

Who Uses Medical Gloves?

These gloves are used by a range of healthcare professionals including:

  • Doctors
  • Nurses
  • Dentists
  • Laboratory technicians
  • Caregivers

They are also used during certain medical procedures.

When Should They be Worn?

These gloves should be worn whenever there is a risk of exposure to blood, bodily fluids, contaminated surfaces, or potentially infectious materials. This includes during medical procedures, examinations, wound care, and the handling of hazardous substances.

Are They Reusable?

No, medical gloves are designed for single-use only. Reusing gloves can lead to cross-contamination which defeats its purpose. Used gloves should always be properly disposed of in accordance with healthcare waste management guidelines.

How do I Choose The Right Size?

Choosing the right size is important for proper fit and comfort. Gloves that are too small can cause tears, while gloves that are too large might not provide sufficient protection. If you have any questions about the fit, be sure to contact us at sales@easygloves.co.uk

How Should They Be Removed From Your Hand?

To remove the gloves, grab the outside of one glove near the wrist and peel it off, then place the removed glove into the palm of your gloved hand. Slide a finger from your bare hand under the wrist of the remaining glove and peel it off, turning it inside out as you remove it, so the contaminated surface is contained.
